Terms of use
These terms cover the Doggydoro app for iPhone and Doggydoro Pro. Doggydoro is made by Garvin Bulkin in Australia (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Doggydoro you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”). These terms add to the EULA; where the two differ, these terms apply to the extent the law and the EULA allow.
Using the app
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Doggydoro on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store’s usage rules allow. Please don’t copy, resell or redistribute the app or its art, or try to get around its purchases.
Doggydoro Pro
- Pro is available as a one-time purchase, or as an auto-renewing subscription billed monthly, quarterly or yearly. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your iPhone’s Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- If a plan includes a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends when you buy a subscription. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and is charged.
- Pro works with Family Sharing, so one purchase covers your Apple Family.
Refunds
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer laws that apply to you.
Bones, finds and furniture
Bones, finds, oopsies, furniture and other things you earn or unlock in the app are part of the game. They have no cash value, can’t be exchanged for money, and can’t be transferred to anyone else.
App blocking
Blocking relies on Apple’s Screen Time on your iPhone. We do our best to make it dependable, but it depends on your permission and on iOS, so we can’t promise an app will always be shielded. It’s a focus aid you set for yourself, not a parental-control or safety tool.
Ours and others’
The app, its art and characters (Patches included), its words and this website belong to us. The ambient sound recordings are used under their makers’ licences and credited in the app, under About, then Sounds. The display fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License.
No warranty, and limits
To the extent the law allows, Doggydoro is provided as it is, without warranties, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss from using it. Where the law implies guarantees that can’t be excluded, such as those under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited, where the law allows, to supplying the app again or paying for it to be supplied again.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new date, and for significant changes we’ll say so in the app’s update notes. Using the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
