Pro and purchases
How do I restore Pro on a new phone, or after reinstalling?
Open Doggydoro, go to Settings, then Get Pro, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you’re signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you bought Pro with.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases go through Apple, so Apple handles refunds. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com, choose Doggydoro, and pick the reason that fits. We can’t issue refunds ourselves, but if something’s wrong with the app, please tell us too.
How do I cancel a subscription?
In your iPhone’s Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Doggydoro. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date and you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Does Family Sharing work?
Yes, with every Pro plan. The family organiser needs purchase sharing turned on: in Settings, tap your name, then Family, then Purchase Sharing. Family members then open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases.
App blocking
Blocking isn’t working. What should I check?
Doggydoro needs Screen Time permission. In your iPhone’s Settings, open Screen Time, make sure it’s on, then check that Doggydoro is allowed under Apps with Screen Time Access. In Doggydoro, check Settings, then Blocking Mode: Relax doesn’t block anything, and Whitelist needs you to have chosen the apps to let through. Blocking only runs during a focus session.
An app is still shielded after my session.
Shields come down when a session ends or is cancelled in the app. If Doggydoro was closed while a session was running, open it again so it can finish the session and lift them.
Can Doggydoro see which apps I block?
No. You choose apps in Apple’s own picker, and Doggydoro only receives sealed tokens it can’t read. Nothing about them leaves your phone. The privacy policy has the details.
Everything else
My focus alarms or session notifications don’t arrive.
In your iPhone’s Settings, open Notifications, then Doggydoro, and make sure notifications are allowed. A Focus mode can hold them back too: add Doggydoro to its allowed apps if you want them through.
Will my room and history come with me to a new phone?
Your data lives on your iPhone, and syncing it through iCloud isn’t available yet. If you move your whole phone with an iCloud or computer backup, or with Quick Start, the app’s data comes along. Pro comes back on any phone with Restore Purchases.
Which iPhones does Doggydoro run on?
Any iPhone on iOS 17 or later.
